Zachary James Sahm

     Mr. Sahm, 27, Coalport, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh.  Born August 14, 1996 in Altoona a son of the late James P. Sahm and Shelley R. (McClellan) Ponist of Coalport.  He is survived by his mother, his stepfather Joe Ponist of Coalport, a brother Hunter M. Sahm of Philipsburg, stepsisters Alyson Ponist of Irvona and Delaney Ponist of Coalport, maternal grandparents Dave and Gail McClellan of Glasgow, paternal grandparents Gregory and Carol Sahm of Blandburg, aunts and uncles Michelle (Brad) O’Donnell, Luke (Heather) McClellan and Paul (Sarah) McClellan, a niece, a nephew and several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Joshua Sahm.

     Zach was a 2014 graduate of Glendale High School.

     A memorial gathering will take place at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 2-4 pm.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
