Wilmer G. "Pete" McClellan, Jr.

     Mr. McClellan, 52, Van Ormer, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016. He was born February 24, 1964 in Altoona, a son of the late Wilmer G. and Barbara S. (Yon) McClellan, Sr.  On April 21, 1987, in Winchester, VA., he married Kimberly K. Konczos who survives along with five children Melissa M. McClellan, her companion Tim Matley and their children Camdin Matley and Arabella Matley all of Tyrone, Melinda M. (Robbie) Glasgow and her daughter Zoie McClellan of Glasgow, Ryan G. McClellan of Glasgow, and Satyn P. McClellan and Joel R. McClellan, both at home.  Also surviving are two brothers Roy E. McClellan of Altoona and Scott A. McClellan of Fallentimber.  He was also preceded in death by a sister Katherine.

     Pete was a 1982 graduate of Altoona High School.  He was owner/operator of W.G. McClellan & Son Excavating.  He enjoyed family time at his camp, hunting and riding his mule.  He was a member of the Patton Sportsmen’s Club and a life member of the NRA.

     Friends will be received 5-7 pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Hollentown Assembly of God where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm by Pastor Joe Hollen.
