Mrs. Warsek, 81, a resident of Valley View Home, Altoona and formerly of Glasgow, died Friday, September 3, 2010 at the home. Born March 28, 1929 in Lost River, WV. a daughter of the late James E. and Ocie Gay (Miller) Rhodes. On July 3, 1948 in Gallitzin she married John Warsek who died April 24, 2004. Surviving are 4 children: John D. in Texas, Ronald A. of Glasgow, Nancy L. Nash of Bellwood and Debra J. Queen of Irvona, 11 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren and 1 sister Mary Jane Gochnaur of Altoona. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Cindy, 3 brothers Jack, James and Dayton and a sister Betty Ann Mudrak.
She was a member of the Hollentown Assembly of God. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 Monday at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Hammerle officiating. Burial will be in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
