William Allen Hugill, Sr.

     Mr. Hugill, 62, of Patton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, Hastings.  He was born December 26, 1958 in Spangler, a son of Arthur B. and Nancy J. (Kitchen) Hugill.  On October 21, 1978, in Mahaffey, he married Gail Marie Vasil who survives along with son William A. (Victoria) Hugill, Jr., their daughter Lyra; and son Jonathan D. (Sunshine) Hugill and their children Kalysta, Grainer and Rush, all of Johnstown.  Also surviving are his parents of Mahaffey, four siblings Thomas B. (Pamela) Hugill of Bealton, VA., Edward E. (Trudy) Hugill, Debi K. (Vance) McLaughlin and Wanda J. Hugill, all of Mahaffey and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Bill was Vice President of Hugill Sanitation, LaJose.  He enjoyed tinkering with anything with a motor, had played drums at church and tent meetings, collected anything Elvis and loved his family, his grandchildren in particular.

     He was a member of Calvary Chapel Church, Mahaffey where a visitation will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4-7 pm and again on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.  Pastor David Brady will officiate and burial will be in LaJose Cemetery.  Facemasks are required inside the sanctuary.  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
