William H. Donnley

     Mr. Donnley, 67, Hopedale, IL., died unexpectedly Monday, April 18, 2016 in Hopedale.  He was born December 12, 1948, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Ambrose D. and Wanda J. (Gwin) Donnley.  Surviving are a son Michael J. Donnley and a daughter Leslie J. (Ryan) Moore, with whom he lived, and their sons Joey and Kyle Moore, a sister Kathy Morgan and two brothers Ambrose and David Donnley. He was also preceded in death by a brother Allen Donnley.

     William served in the United States Army and worked construction for many years until he got his CDL and became a truck driver.  He had lived many years in Virginia with his children and former wife Joyce Wynne until he moved back to Clearfield.  In late September 2015 he was diagnosed with lung cancer.

     A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 4-6 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.  A graveside celebration of life committal service will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
