Mrs. Bollinger, 93, a resident of The Winds at Mattern Orchard, Duncansville, formerly of Beaver Valley, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. She was born on December 5, 1929, in Utahville, a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Minnie E. (Weld) Price. On March 17, 1949, in Orangeburg, SC., she married Kenneth E. Bollinger who died March 9, 2005. Surviving are seven children: Rodger E. (Debbie Kirby) Bollinger of Gettysburg, Kenneth W. (Patricia Kelly) Bollinger and Russell C. (Roseann Turek) Bollinger, both of Patton, Leroy A. (Ginny Zupich) Bollinger of Coalport, Waneta J. (Peter) Lenk of Colchester, CT., Brian R. (Janice Gabrielson) Bollinger of East Berlin and Bonnie S. (Aaron) Keirn of Altoona, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her husband, a granddaughter Leeann Bollinger, a sister Faye Ross and three brothers Ivan Weld, Lester Weld and Russell Price.
Wanda had been a member of the former Beaver Valley United Methodist Church.
At Wanda’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation. A private committal will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Beaver Valley Cemetery. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
