Virginia R. "Jennie" (Kelley) Miller

     Mrs. Miller, 91, Hollentown, died Saturday, January 2, 2016, at UPMC-Altoona.  She was born May 29, 1924, in Rosebud, a daughter of the late William S. and Zaida M. (Irwin) Kelley.  On December 28, 1944, in West Decatur, she married Gerald L. Miller who died April 27, 2001.  Surviving are four children Vicki L. (Pete) McCully of Van Ormer, Kenneth G. (Kathy Turner) of Addison, NY., Lucille R. (Gary) Turner of Altoona and Duane C. of Hollentown.  Also surviving are six grandchildren Stephanie L. Noel, Kenneth R., Joni M. Makowiec, Bryan M., Nicole R. Mauk and Jeanna C. Hann, ten great-grandchildren along with one sister Jessie L. Gercone of Romeoville, IL..  Also preceded in death by a granddaughter Andrea L. Turner, four brothers and five sisters.   

     Known as Jennie, she was a member of the Irvona Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.  She had worked as a stockgirl at the former Newberry’s Five and Dime Store, Coalport..

     Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 and Wednesday 10 am until the 11 am services at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Pastor Doug Williams officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery, Beccaria Twp.
