Valerie G. (Thomas) Maidl

  Mrs. Maidl, 80, Bellwood, died Tuesday, December 2, 2015 at her residence.  Born May 25, 1935 in Blandburg a daughter of the late Charles and Rachael E. (Reese) Thomas.  On December 28, 1953 in Altoona she married Paul J. Maidl who died January 28, 2001.  Surviving are three sons Randy P. Maidl of Jefferson, MD., Daniel L. Maidl of Shawnee, WY. and Timothy L. Maidl of Bellwood.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great-grandson along with two sisters Rose M. Spicer of Tyrone and Theda R. Lightner of Portland, OR.

     Valerie was a 1953 graduate of Bellwood High School   According to her wishes, there are no visitation or services.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.  The McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, is in charge of her arrangements.
