Mrs. Wasilko, 81, of Blandburg and Colyer, Centre County, died Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center. She was born September 10, 1944, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late William F. and LaRue E. (Brooks) Fohringer. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Chris Corle and the father of her children Robert T. Wallace. Surviving is her husband Stanley R. Wasilko, five children Candice Y. (David) Gill of Lewiston, MT., Timothy P. Wallace of Blandburg, Lori L. (Bill) White in Florida, Thomas S. (Maggie) Wallace of Hyde and Robin D. Wallace of Altoona. Also surviving are three grandchildren Matthew Corle, Missy Corson and Amy Gill and five great-grandchildren Arabella and Emily Corle, and Kinsleigh, JoLissa and Allistar Corson and a brother Dennis Fohringer and his companion Vickie Crisp in North Carolina.
Trudy had attended Penns Valley High School and the Altoona School of Commerce. She retired as a MIS Tech from Home Nursing, Altoona. She was a member of Roseland Christian Fellowship and enjoyed cats, flower gardening, outdoor life and debating politics. She was a volunteer at Blair County Wildlife Rehab. She especially missed her parents and grandson Chris and looked forward to their day of reunion.
Friends and family will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 6-8 pm and again on Sunday from 1 pm until the funeral services at 2:00 pm. Pastor James Smeal will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
