Mr. Treese, 57, Fiske, Fallentimber, RD, went to meet his Lord Sunday August 21, 2005 at the James E. VanZandt VAMC, Altoona.
A beloved husband to the former Suzan H. Hartman, who survives and he married August 5, 1972 in Altoona and a beloved father of 2 daughters: Sandra J. Shomo of Coalport and Katie L. Treese at home; 2 sons Clayton H. of Blandburg and Daniel P. of Fiske, he was born in Altoona on July 11, 1948 a son of Jesse C. and Ruth E. (Sybert) Treese. His mother, of Altoona, survives along with 5 grandchildren: Ben, Becky, Brock and Shane Shomo and Heidee Treese. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Roy of Sterling, VA, Steve and John both of Altoona, numerous nieces and nephews, his uncle Ted Treese and aunts Peggy Treese, Dorothy Sybert and Norma and Eric Schroeder.
He graduated from Altoona High School Class of 1966, was a Yeoman 3rd Class in the Army during the Vietnam War and had been employed as a police officer with the Altoona Police Department from 1972-1977 and then retired from the JE VanZandt VAMC security department and laundry plant manager after 22 years employment.
Above his love of fishing, camping and stained glass, Tim loved having his family all together. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow
