Mr. Nash, 86, Blandburg, died Sunday December 19, 2004 at the Altoona Hospital He was born October 20, 1918, in Blandburg, the son of the late David G. and Roxie (Hollen) Nash. On June 1, 1944, in Bellwood, he married Dorothea M. Graham who died August 11, 1999. Surviving are a daughter Judith C. (Charles) Dieterle of Muncy, a son Thomas D. (Nancy Warsek) of Blandburg, 7 grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren, and 2 sisters: Betty Douglas of Buffalo, NY and Shirley Brown of Bellwood. He was also preceded in death by a sister Fay. Mr. Nash was a member of the Masons-Logan Lodge, Altoona, Jaffa Temple, Jaffa Greeters, Valley of Altoona and was recognized at the Bellwood Eagles Aerie #1859 as the member with the longest consecutive years of membership at the time.
He retired in 1980 as custodian at Glendale High School and was a member of the Hollentown Assembly of God. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday from the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
