Thomas E. Adam

     Mr. Adam, 81, Coalport, died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at UPMC-Altoona.  Born March 31, 1935 in Madera he was a son of the late J. Leonard and Amelia M. (Shoff) Adam.  Surviving are a son Timothy L. of Leesport, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Tom was also preceded in death by a son Paul and a brother Lynn.  

     He served in the peacetime Army and had been an equipment operator at the former Hommer Lumber Co. and Custom Truss Co. in Glasgow.  Tom was a 1953 graduate of B.C.I. High School and was a member of the Roseland Christian Fellowship where friends will be received Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 6-8 pm and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Jon Hommer officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
