Mr. Miller, 66, a resident of Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, and formerly of Altoona and Dakota Ridge Road, Fallentimber, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at the center. He was born November 3, 1953, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Bruce and Patricia E. (George) Miller. On June 24, 1978, in Hollentown, he married Diana L. Brink, who, due to his unselfishness in contributing a kidney to her, survives along with a son Timothy R. (Jenna) Miller of Altoona, a granddaughter Adia Miller and four brothers P. Bruce (Bonnie) Miller of Coalport, Howard R. (Karen) Miller of Fallentimber, Richard A. (Carol) Miller of Hollidaysburg and Daniel J. Miller of Bellefonte. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews that Terry loved very much and was truly a hero to many. Terry was also preceded in death by a brother Gary.
He was a 1971 graduate of Glendale High School and had been employed as a loader operator at Benjamin Coal Co., LaJose and retired in 2013 as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former Valley View Nursing Home. He was a member of SEIU-Healthcare. Terry’s favorite things to do were to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers with his family, being outdoors hunting with his brothers and his favorite beagles. He loved to camp and travel.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing at the McQuown Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 6-8 pm and then at the Hollentown Assembly of God on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 2:00 pm till the 4:00 pm funeral services with Pastor Joe Hollen officiating.
