Growing up in Maryland, Terry was a self-employed construction contractor, continuing that occupation when he moved back to the Fallentimber area. He then was employed as a driller at Benjamin Coal Company, LaJose and then as a heavy equipment mechanic for C&K Coal Company, Blandburg, where he worked until the company closed. He then worked as a shop mechanic until his retirement. Those who knew Terry knew of his disability and suffering but also knew he complained very little. His Physical Therapists Ed and Amanda brought great comfort and joy to Terry during their sessions together. Terry enjoyed woodworking, working on vehicles, wine making, coffee, conversation with friends and family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow for a viewing for Terry from 1-6 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Funeral services will be interjected during the viewing at 1:30 pm with Pastor Doug Williams officiating.
