Ms. Kaup, 56, of Altoona, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at UPMC-Altoona. She was born July 29, 1965, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late George and D. Eileen (Narehood) Knapp. A son, Aaron J. Campbell, died a few hours following her death. She is survived by a son Jeremy R. (Krista) Knapp of Altoona, grandchildren Gabriella and Jeremiah Knapp, who she loved being a “Nana” to, a brother Joseph W. Knapp of Holsopple, nephews Shawn and Scott (Davina) Wieczorek, great-niece and nephew Kylie and Cory Wieczorek, a cousin Thomas Knapp and her former husband Stephen J. Campbell of Altoona. She was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Linda and Thomas Wiezorek.
She was a 1983 graduate of Conemaugh Twp. High School and was a teacher’s aide for the Altoona School District, retiring in 2019. Tammy was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God, enjoyed playing card games, bowling and was an avid movie goer. She was a former president of the Blair County Autism Society. Tammy was a huge fan of baseball and never missed a game that Jeremiah played.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 2:00pm until the funeral service at 4:00 pm at Trans4mation Church, 1001 S. First St., Altoona, PA. 16601 with Pastor Herb Wireback officiating.
