Mrs. Alleman, 84, Glen Hope, died Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg. Born April 30, 1931 in West Decatur the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Kacprzak. On September 3, 1948 in Houtzdale she married Murry M. Alleman who died June 13, 2000. Surviving are ten children Judy (Kenneth) Keith of Coalport, Marie Lonesky, Milton (Jeanne Miles), Murry and David, all of Glen Hope, William (Susan Geffert) of Brisbin, Mae Flick of Emporium, Cynthia (Lewy) Freeman of Erhard, Ruth (Daniel ) Miles of Irvona and Frances (Kevin) Date of Ramey. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Troxell, two grandsons Kenneth Keith and Joshua Date and a son-in-law Chick Lonesky.
Stella was a member of the Glen Hope United Methodist Church and it's Ladies' Aide. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, watching soap operas and especially spending Christmas Eve's with her family.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Fields and Rev. Darlene Wiewiora officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
