Mrs. Spencer, 60, of Luthersburg, died Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born May 26, 1965, in Tucson, AZ., a daughter of the late Harry C. and Margaret A. (Blasko) Chilcote, Sr. On September 10, 1982, in Mahaffey, she married Jerry L. Spencer who survives along with two brothers Harry C. (Cheryl) Chilcote, Jr. of New Stanton and Randy A. (Angel) Chilcote of Mahaffey and a sister Trudy J. (Ed) Hugill of Mahaffey and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Terry and a sister Sandra McLean.
Shelly was a graduate of Ace Christian Academy, Mahaffey and had been employed as a seamstress for Kent Sportswear, Mahaffey. She assisted her husband as pastor’s wife at Oasis Ministry, Dubois, including Church Secretary and Sunday School Teacher and volunteered as a dorm leader for the youth camps and as a cook at Calvary Chapel Church in Mahaffey and traveled to Mexico for many missions trips. She loved her family and all people, but most loved and was devoted to the Lord. She was a member of Oasis Ministry and Calvary Chapel Church.
Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm funeral services at Oasis Ministry, Dubois. Services will be conducted by Pastor Dave Brady. Burial will be in New Washington Cemetery. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
