Ms. Helsel, 79, of Ebensburg, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh. She was born December 9, 1946, in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Paul and Constance L. (Wisor) McGuire. She is survived by a daughter Mary Ann Helsel of Philipsburg, two siblings Cheryl Wilson Edgecombe of New Orleans, LA. and James R. Wilson of West Decatur and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her life companion Donovan Kutruff of Ebensburg.
Sharon was a member of the Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf, Senior Citizens and the Western Pennsylvania Deaf Senior Citizens.
There will be no visitation or services at this time. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
