Mr. Winchester, 61, Van Ormer, died Sunday August 5, 2012 at UPMC-Montifiore, Pittsburgh. Born October 14, 1950 in Coatesville, a son of the late Rudolph and Margaret L. (Botkin) Winchester. He was married May 17, 1969, in Elkton, MD., to Kathleen A. Partner who survives along with 3 children: Rudolph R. (Lori) of Honey Brook, Edward W. (Deb) of Gap, and Robbie P. (Kara) of Parkesburg, 5 grandchildren, 1 greatgranddaughter, 6 siblings Norma Triplett of Honey Brook, Patty Gilbert and Randy, of Parkesburg, Janie Zane in Maryland, Debbie Haybecker and Tim, of Morgantown. Also surviving are his stepmother Jean Winchester of Parkesburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired in 2002 as a gas cutter from Luken Steel, Coatesville after 33 years employment. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow on Wednesday 10:00-11:30 am and at the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg Wednesday 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held following the evening visitation in Parkesburg. Interment will be Thursday in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
