Roberta M. (Myers) Krise

     Mrs. Krise, 91, a resident of Sonshine Manor, Fallentimber and formerly of Fiske, died Friday, March 14, 2010 at the manor.  Born February 27, 1919 in Fallentimber a daughter of the late Stephen and Dorothy (Kuhn) Myers.  On July 13, 1935  in Winchester, VA. she married Hartley G. Krise who died October 2, 1973.  Surviving are 3 children: Joy K. Stephens of Bell, FL., John R. (Faye Mackey) of Glendale Yearround and Betsy J. of Fiske, 6 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren and 3 siblings: Steve of Belcourt, ND., Betty Levis of Alverta and Blanche Strahlo of Melbourne, FL.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Margaret Coccia and Juniata Deveney and 3 brothers Chalmer and Donnie Myers and Russell Stout.
     She attended the Fiske United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
      Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 and Tuesday 1-2 pm  at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Joe Hollen officiating.  Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
