Robert T. Krise

     Mr. Krise, 80, Fiske, Fallentimber, RD., died Friday, August 31, 2007 at his residence.  He was born December 4, 1926 in Fallentimber, a son of the late John C. and Estella C. (Hartley) Krise.  On February 14, 1948, in Coalport, he married Bernice Glass who survives along with four daughters: Karen S. (Bruce) Cutter of Columbia, MO., Cheryl J. (David) Hollen of Glasgow, Robin C. (Ronald) Milchak of Carrolltown, and Brenda K. (Ronald) Passanita of Fallentimber, 12 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Jack and Hartley and 3 sisters Helen Beers, Hazel Beers and Ann. 
     He served in the Army as a Staff Sergeant during WWII.  He enjoyed woodworking, hiking, reading and his dog Katie.  He retired in 1992 as a supervisor from L.S. Fiore in Altoona and had been a self-employed carpenter.  
     Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Monday 10 am until the 11 am services at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Pastor Jon Hommer officiating.  Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to: Fiske United Methodist Church, Fallentimber, PA.  16639.
