Mr. Wagner, 66, Flinton, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at ARHS-Altoona Hospital. Known as Jughead he was born January 27, 1944 in Bellwood a son of the late Arthur L. and Dorothy I. (Crist) Wagner. On April 24, 1963 in Dysart he married Linda L. Dibert who survives along with 3 children: Arthur L. (Shana Peddle) of Linden, VA., Sandra L. (Red) Sutton of Flinton and Laura L. McClellan of Altoona, 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister Betty Shomo and a brother Thomas.
He retired in 1995 as a superintendent from Earthmovers Unlimited, Kylertown. He served in the Naval Reserves as Fireman 3rd Class from 1959-1962, was a member of the Richland Bible Church where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the Coalport Masonic Lodge.
Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow and Wednesday 10:00 am until the 11:00 am services. Pastor Bob Witherow will officiate and burial will be in Logan valley Cemetery, Bellwood. A Masonic service will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
