Mr. Gathagan, 52, Utahville, died Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at his residence following a battle with liver cancer. He was born December 15, 1963 in Philipsburg the son of Clair A. and Jeanne A. (Roub) Gathagan who survive along with a daughter Carlee Jane Gathagan of Bellwood and two sisters Brenda Lee (Gary) Beers of Utahville and Rita Faye (Ike) Solan of Allemans. He was preceded in death by a sister Sheila Wilson.
Randy had been a carpenter for several area contractors and had been a heavy equipment operator for Glenn O. Hawbaker Co., State College. He was a member of the Coalport Moose and VFW.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 Saturday and Sunday 1:00-2:00 pm at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Preston Hutchins officiating. Interment will be in Utahville Cemetery.
