Pauline M. (Marra) Porto

     Mrs. Porto, 96, a resident of Amber Terrace at Altoona Center for Nursing Care, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the center.  Born May 18, 1914 in Clearfield a daughter of the late Philip and Ann (Loddo) Marra.  On August 31, 1938, in Clearfield she married Henry Porto who died January 14, 1995.  Surviving are 3 daughters: Maryann Penatzer  of Bedford, Carol L. of Fort Republic, MD. And Barbara L. Bowman of Lexington Park, MD., 8 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren and a sister Lucy Marino of Clearfield.  She was also preceded in death by a son Frank, 4 brothers James, Pete, Philip and Don and 2 sisters Katie Alleman and Ann Tilwalk.
     She retired in 1978 as a Clerk from Kmart, Altoona
     Friends will be received 6-8 pm Friday at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.  Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality with Fr. Sean Code officiating.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Carol Marra Porto Treatment Center  PO Box 730  Prince Frederick, MD.  20678
