Paul E. Smith

     Mr. Smith, 56, Lilly, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Windber Hospice.  Born August 8, 1959 in Windber a son of  Ruth A. (McIntosh) Smith and the late Earl L. Smith.  On September 12, 1987, in Lilly, he married Donna J. Matthew who survives along with two sons Shayne M. and Cameron L., both at home.  Also surviving is his mother of Lilly and three brothers Marc A. of Altoona, Mace A. (Jodi) of Indiantown Gap and Eric H. of Lilly.        

     Paul was a 1978 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and a 1997 graduate of Vale Tech, Blairsville.  He was employed by Amtran in Altoona as a diesel mechanic.  He was a life member and trustee of the Community Volunteer Fire Company, Lilly.

     At Mr. Smith’s request there is no viewing.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly with Msgr. John R. Sasway officiating.  Burial will be in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Lilly.
