Mr. Bellina, 70, Fallentimber, died unexpectedly Friday, April 26, 2019 at his residence following an apparent heart attack. He was born August 25, 1948, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Powell M. and Kathryn (Connolly) Bellina. On February 8, 2013 in Hollidaysburg he married Yvonne E. McLaughlin who survives along with a brother Robert Bellina of Willow Grove, a sister Delores Wilson in Tennessee, a niece Katie Maroney, two nephews Michael Wilson and Josh Wilson and three cousins Trish Alexander, Ed Bellina and Phyllis Shure. He was also preceded in death by a brother Richard Bellina and a sister Florence Griswold.
Paul was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School. He was a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy attached to the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, performed reconnaissance missions against enemy forces and was a Navy diver. He earned two Purple Heart medals for injuries received during his enlistment. After his discharge from the military he was a self-employed home inspector and a Radon gas remediator. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America and a life member of the Duncansville VFW.
Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 2:00 pm until the 4:00 pm funeral services at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow. Mr. Ken Fleming will officiate. The Richard L. Beers Post #7043 will conduct military honors.
