Patricia J. (Smith) Franks

     Mrs. Franks, 74, Blandburg, died Friday, December 3, 2010 at ARHS-Altoona Hospital.  Born March 9, 1936 in Altoona a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (McAlpine) Smith.  On August 31, 1957, in Winchester, VA. she married R. Lee Franks who died November 18, 2010.  Surviving is a daughter Robin L. (Charles III) Sluzenski of Blandburg, a daughter-in-law Debbie Kaye, 5 grandchildren Josh, Amanda, Chuck, Derek and Rikki Nicole, 3 greatgrandchildren Savannah, Ava and Jayden, and 2 siblings Audrey McClellan of Bellwood and John R. of Duncannon.  She was also preceded in death by 2 sons Russ and Rick and a brother Jim.
     She was a member of the Bellwood American Legion.
     Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home Glasgow, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am with Pastor Barry Weyant officiating  Interment in Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
