Pamela Anne (Blankenship) Close

     Mrs. Close, 69, of Allemans, died unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at her residence.  She was born July 25, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Leslie and Lucille Blankenship.  On July 9, 1983, in Felton, CA., she married C. Zane Close who survives along with a daughter Amber D. Close of San Diego, CA.  In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by a brother Leslie.  

She was a 1973 graduate of Livermore High School in Livermore, CA. and retired as a purchasing manager for Probe Technology in Santa Clara, CA.  She enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling with her husband and raising numerous Sheltie dogs.  Pam was a member of the Allemansville United Methodist Church.

     There was no viewing.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Allemansville United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Ford officiating.  Burial will be in Allemansville Cemetery .  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
