Opal Beers Obituary
Mrs. Beers, 78, Dillon Road, Coalport, RD. died Monday, September 18, 2006 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Known as Bonnie, she was born December 29, 1927, in Reade Twp., a daughter of the late Robert and Jesse (Reffner) Kruis. On June 23, 1949, in Roseland she married William Dean Beers who survives along with 5 children: William D., Jr. and Gary L., both of Utahville, Lora Lee Ross of St. Lawrence, Timothy D. and Robert M., both of Janesville, 13 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren and 4 siblings: Marjie Kepple of Coalport, Marian Hollen of Altoona, Helen Simmers of Warren and Robert of Bellwood. She was a member of the Utahville United Methodist Church.
Viewing and services will be private. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
