Olive M. (Bender) Frye

     Mrs. Frye, 91, a resident of Manor Care Nursing  Home, Camp Hill and formerly of Allemans died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the home.  She was born May 11, 1919 in St. Augustine, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Krug) Bender and was twice married, 1st to Albert H. Johnston on June 17, 1939 in Frugality.  He died September 6, 1948.  She then married Virgil Frye on November 17, 1960 in Bronx, NY.  He died January 11, 1991.  She is survived by 5 daughters Mary Jane (Glenn) Bricker of Camp Hill, Carolyn A. Persik of Carlisle, Judith E. (Fritz) Fudrow of Blandburg, Gerardine M. (Jon) Rosensteel of Altoona and Mary E. (Dan) Campbell of New Cumberland. 15 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by 3 children Donald, James and Linda Johnston and 7 siblings Bob, Joe, Ken, Leonard, George, Aileen Noel and Cressie Noel.
     She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality and Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill.
     Friends will be received Wednesday 10-2 at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow followed by a  Funeral Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Fleming officiating.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
