Nina B. (Bowman) Garman

     Mrs. Garman, 81, a resident of Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg, and formerly of Glasgow, died Monday, August  7, 2017 at Windy Hill Village.

     She was born October 8, 1935, in Glasgow, a daughter of the late Charles B. and Marguerite H. (Hommer) Bowman.  She was a 1953 graduate of Reade Twp. High School.  She was Protestant by faith.

     Nina was married on September 29, 1956 to Dean L. Garman at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Glasgow.  Dean died August 23, 2005.  Surviving are children Patti Lesser and her husband, Michael, of Philipsburg, Dean Jr. and his wife, Robin (Laing) of Coalport, Daniel and  Betsy Walstrom and her husband Gary of Glasgow and Jaymee Miller and her husband Larrie of Lititz.  Grandchildren-Erin Mickney, Danielle Kauffman, Nathan Garman, Gary Walstrom, Jr., Jessica Garman and Devon Miller, eight great-grandchildren and a sister Nancy Wilson of Glasgow..

     At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation or service.  A private viewing and service will be held at the convenience of the family.

     The McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, is in charge of arrangements.
