Nancy M. "Meam" (Perino) Myers

     Mrs. Myers, 87, a resident of Valley View Home, Altoona and formerly of Tyrone and Bumble Bee, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the home.  Born April 10, 1922 in Dysart a daughter of the late Sandi and Grace (Rittner) Perino.  On November 24, 1945, in Ebensburg, she married Robert B. Myers who died December 11, 1979.  Surviving are 3 children: John R. (Diana Clark) of Tyrone, Diane Myers of Altoona and Bobbie Slovikosky of Cresson; 4 grandchildren: Michael Myers, John Myers, Holly Pacewicz and Jeremy Slovikosky, 2 greatgrandchildren: Travis Myers and Gavin Pacewicz and 3 sisters: Thelma Springer of Blandburg, Mary Plunkett of Youngstown, OH. and Rosalee Gibbons in Virginia.  She was also preceded in death by a grandson Tim McElheny, a granddaughter Edwina Myers, 3 brothers Louie, Michael & Robert and a sister Louise Simon.
     She was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
     Friends will be received Saturday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home Glasgow, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jon Hommer officiating.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
