Nancy J. (Smithmyer) McCaulley

     Mrs. McCaulley, 69, Altoona, died Saturday, September 7, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona.  Born May 15, 1950 in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Annette (McDermott) Smithmyer.  On June 6, 1970, in Altoona, she married Larry J. McCaulley who died July 14, 2016.  She is survived by a daughter Michelle E. Mayes and her husband Jerry of Van Ormer, a granddaughter Annette (Charles) Dieso, two step-granddaughters Stephanie (Brooks Kaufman) Mayes and Nicole (Adam) Watt, seven great-grandchildren, a brother Gary (Elaine) Smithmyer of Altoona and sisters Elaine (William) Henninger of Altoona and Janis (Edward) Casoria of Indialantic, FL.

     Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School.  She was retired but had worked alongside her husband who was part owner of American Roofing, Altoona.

     She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona, where a funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 10:30 am with Fr. Frank Scornaienchi, celebrant. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
