Mildred L. "Mid" (Scott) Matthew

     Mrs. Matthew, 88, North Hill, Fallentimber, died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the home of her daughter.  She was born July 4, 1926 in Blandburg,  a daughter of the late John W. and Ethel M. (Herman) Scott.  On July 20, 1946, in LaVale, MD., she married Anthony C. Matthew who died September 4, 2008.  Surviving are a son Terry L. (Trudy Glasgow) Matthew of North Hill and a daughter Sarah J. Shawley of Coalport.  Also surviving are a granddaughter Dr. Kerry L. Matthew of Bellwood, a grandson Michael L. Shawley of Duncansville and his children Alexis, Blayde and Gage and three sisters Helen E. Frank of Blandburg, Louella M. Kovaloski of Apollo and Judith J. Chilcote of Camp Hill.  She was also preceded in death by a brother John.  She was Protestant in faith and was a 1944 graduate of Reade Twp. High School.

    Friends will be received at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, Monday  11:00 am until the 3:00 pm services with Pastor Clare Pannebaker officiating.  Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
