Matthew Allen Kaufman

     Mr. Kaufman, 37, of Flinton, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 in Clearfield.   He was born February 27, 1987, in Altoona, a son of Michael E. and Juanita A. (Walters) Kaufman.  Surviving are his parents of Flinton, three children Elizabeth J. Kaufman, Maximus A. Kaufman and Victoria J. Kaufman, his children’s mother Amanda M. Cochran, all of Fallentimber, two sisters Jean V. (Mark) Davis of Fallentimber and Michaele N. Kaufman of Flinton, two nephews Roman Davis and Bruce Kougher, Jr., a niece Reagan Davis, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  His girlfriend, Jerri McGary of Madera, also survives.

     Matt was a 2005 graduate of Glendale High School and attended Altoona Vo-Tech.  He had been employed as a foreman for Osmose Utilities Services.  He enjoyed all things outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and boating.  He loved the cold weather and had an admirable work ethic, caring for and helping anyone needing a hand.

     There will be no viewing.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Glendale Valley Spirit and Truth Church, Irvona.  Friends and family will be received at the church from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM services.
