Mrs. Sahm, 84, Blandburg, died Monday, November 5, 2007 at ARHS-Altoona campus. She was born January 4, 1923 in Ginter, a daughter of the late Oscar and Beatrice (Reed) Ricketts. On September 1, 1945, in Glen Campbell she married Fredrick G. Sahm who died July 23, 1979. Surviving are 2 sons: Rodger G. of Osceola Mills and Greg F. (Carol Jenkins) of Blandburg and these grandchildren: Jim (Michelle McClellan), their children Joshua, Zach and Hunter and Michelle (Brad) O’Donnell and their children Bradley and Shea. Also surviving are two brothers Charles of Coalport and James of Montgomery, Alabama and sister Bernice Panasian of Williamsville, NY. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Greg, and a brother Oscar
She was a 1941 graduate of Beccaria Twp. High School and was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Glasgow.
Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Friday from 10:00 am till the hour of services at 11:00 am at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Pastor Charles Yingling officiating. Entombment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
