Mrs. Hollen, 98, of Altoona, died Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona She was born February 12, 1926, in Reade Twp., a daughter of the late Robert L. and V. Jesse (Reffner) Kruis. On June 23, 1944, in Altoona, she married Clair Leroy Hollen who died July 13, 1985. Surviving are three children: Kenneth Dale (Sharon) Hollen) of Duncansville, Terry L (Marlene) Hollen of Fishing Creek and Bonnie J. (Ron) Williams of Altoona, seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Marjorie Kepple of Coalport and Helen Simmers of Clearfield. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Jeannie Hollen, two brothers Vaughn Kruis and Robert Kruis and a sister Bonnie Beers.
Marian was a member of Hollentown Assembly of God Church where a viewing will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 11:00 am until the hour of services at 1:00 pm. Pastor Jim Chase will officiate and burial will be in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. Arrangements by the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
