Margaret B. (Chubb) Schroat

     Ms. Schroat, 70, of Glasgow, formerly of Williamsport died Friday, January 14, 2022 at UPMC Altoona.  She was born September 18, 1951, in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Harold and Elleanor (Swope) Chubb, Sr.  Surviving are six sons Kenneth E. (Tina) Schroat of Glasgow, David Schroat of Williamsport, Darrell Schroat and Michael Schroat, both of Philadelphia, Chris Schroat in Delaware and Scott Schroat of Bellefonte.  Also surviving are four grandchildren Amber, Kenneth, Jr., Izak and Natalie, two great-grandchildren Danasha and Haley and one on the way, four siblings Graydon L. Chubb of Glasgow, Harold “Butch” Chubb of Williamsport, Patricia Vining of Jersey Shore, Esther Geguvis of Linden and two step-siblings Brenda Stably and Kenneth Powers, both of Williamsport.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Bertha Stevens and Dianno Chubb, a brother Wade Chubb and a step-sister Florence Powers.

     There will be no viewing.  A memorial gathering will be held at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 2-3 pm.
