Margaret M. (Shope) Everhart

     Mrs. Everhart, 91, Beaver Valley, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at her residence.  Born November 25, 1918 in Beaver Valley a daughter of the late William and Millie (McCracken) Shope.  In June of 1935  in Ebensburg  she married Kenneth H. Everhart who died December 23, 1978.  Surviving are 4 childen: Doris (Tatchan) Hayashi of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Loretta (Roger) Traveny of Beaver Valley, Jill Wrye of Warriors Mark and Bill (Karen) of N. Olmsted, OH., 12 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, 4 stepgreatgrandchildren and 4 greatgreatgrandchildren.  Also surviving is a sister Dorothy J. Gilligan of Coalport.  She was also preceded in death by a son Kenneth, 3 brothers Eldon, Garrie and John and 3 sisters Thelma Dombroski, Wilberta Lynch and Olive Davis. 
     She was given wonderful attention by her caregivers, nurses and Hospice nurses, volunteers and support from her sister. 
     She retired in 1978 as a Nurse’s Aide from Lakewood Hospital, Lakewood, OH.  She was a member of the Beaver Valley United Methodist Church..  Friends will be received 6-8 pm Sunday and noon until the 1:00 funeral services at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow with Pastor Barry Weyant officiating.  Burial will be in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
