Lovetta Joye (Watson) Kruis

     Mrs. Kruis, 91, Glasgow, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care.  She was born August 2, 1926 in Blandburg, a daughter of the late John E. and Vera J. (Smiley) Watson.  On June 4, 1948, in Glasgow, she married Clyde F. Kruis, Jr. who died September 6, 2007. Surviving are four children: Leslie G. (Nancy Caber) of Greenville, VA., Larry E. of Glasgow, Barry W. of Hollidaysburg and Carla M. of Irvona, 5 grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers Walter and Alex and two sisters Oneta Miller and Cedena Wagner.

     Joye was a 1945 graduate of Reade Twp. High School and was a member of the Hollentown Assembly of God where funeral services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Joe Hollen officiating.  Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow and Saturday 10 am until the 11 am services at the church.  Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
