Lola Jane (Best) Kidwell

     Mrs. Kidwell, 88, of Flinton, died Monday, June 27, 2022 at her residence.  She was born February 27,1934, in Flinton, a daughter of the late William R. and Mae G. (Lord) Best.  On September 18, 1950, in Winchester, VA., she married Robert L. Kidwell who died February 13, 2021.  Surviving is a son Dennis Lynn Kidwell, at home.  She was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Lovell and a brother William.

     Lola was employed for 22 years as an assembly line worker at Sylvania in Altoona and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Philipsburg Chapel. She was well known in the area because of her ceramics shop, Lola’s Ceramics and also for her beautiful oil paintings.

     Abiding by her wishes, there will be no viewing or services.  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
