Leonard T. Noel

     Mr. Noel, 68, Van Ormer, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at HAIDA Manor, Hastings.  He was born February 4, 1938 in Altoona, a son of the late John M. and Aileen M. (Bender) Noel and married Florence M. Stevens on March 1, 1958 in Van Ormer.  She died December 29, 1998.  Surviving is a daughter Deborah J. Mayes and her husband Frank of Van Ormer, 2 grandsons Tom and Bill, a greatgranddaughter Lexi and a greatgrandson Owen.  Also surviving is a brother Robert T. of Fallentimber.  He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers Harry, Bernard and John and a sister Alice Noonan.
     Mr. Noel retired as a heavy equipment operator from C&K and Power Coal Companies in 1997.  He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Frugality.
     Friends received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where services will be held Friday at 11:00 with Rev. George Gulash officiating.  Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
