Ms. Dickinson, 61, of Hollentown died Thursday, July 7, 2022 at UPMC-Shadyside. She was born November 9, 1960, in Altoona, a daughter of the late Delores J. Shomo. Surviving are two daughters Crystal L. (Dean) Weld of Hollentown and Marlena D. Lee of Coalport, seven grandchildren Jessica, Chase, Nicole and Brian Weld, Deanna Godwin, Jenna & James Sutton, 2 extended grandchildren Darian Hockenberry and Skyler Godwin and one great-grandson Caiden Weld. Also surviving is her companion Doug Weld of Hollentown, three siblings Brenda (Barry) Ledford of Lancaster, Pamela Conzo of Taveras, FL and Randy (Christina) Downs of Fallentimber along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Delores J. (Shomo) Downs, two sons Hunter and Jason and a sister Deb Smith.
Kim had been employed as a caregiver at Skills of Altoona and had tended bar at the Coalport Moose. She loved to cook. Her grandchildren were her world.
There will be no viewing. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow from 2-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial donations payable to the funeral home to aide in paying funeral expenses.
