Katherine S. (Andrews) Schwartz

     Mrs. Schwartz, 94, Bellemeade Manor, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.  She was born January 21, 1916 in Blandburg, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Cicak) Andrews.  Surviving  is a sister Agnes V. Berger of Hollidaysburg.  She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers Joe, Andrew and Steve and 2 sisters Anna and Mary.
     She retired in 1979 from LaSalle Universtity, Chicago, IL. as a clerical worker.  She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona and had attended the former St. Richard’s Catholic Church, Blandburg.
     At the request of Ms. Schartz, all viewing and services are to be private.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Homke, Glasgow.
