Mr. Kendrick, 81, of Clearfield, and formerly of Grassflat and Flinton died Saturday, April 29, 2006. Born September 3, 1924 in Grassflat a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Roskovensky) Kendrick. On September 21, 1949, in Altoona, he wed Patricia C. Barnhart who survives along with a son Joseph R. and his wife Sherry of Clearfield, and these grand and greatgrandchildren: Joseph E. Kendrick, his wife Stephany and their son Jakob; Janeen Visnofsky, her husband David and their son Seth; Jamison Kendrick, his wife Gordana; and Jeremy Kendrick. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Mike, Andy, Tony and John and 1 sister Anna Lyncha.
He retired as a millwright in 1985 after 35 years employment at General Motors in Parma, OH. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and was a member of the Coalport VFW.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Wednesday 1-2 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home Glasgow. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton. The Coalport VFW will conduct military honor services.
