John Warsek

     Mr. Warsek, 80, Glasgow, died Saturday, April 24, 2004 at his residence.  He was born September 19, 1923, in Frugality, a son of the late Paul and Mary (Matula) Warsek.  On July 3, 1948, in Gallitzin, he married Wilma L. Rhodes who survives along with four children John D. Warsek and Roanld A. Warsek, both of Glasgow, Nancy L. Nash of Blandburg and Debra J. Queen of Irvona, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister Allean Sheehan of Ebensburg.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter Cindy, three sisters Mary Gondek, Susan Bartek and Ann Judd and a brother Paul.

     John was a member of the Hollentown Assembly of God and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

     Friends will be received Monday, April 26, 2004, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held Tuesday with Rev. David Hammerle officating.  Burial will be in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
