John Sneath, Jr.

     Mr. Sneath, 89, Hamburg, NY., and formerly of Flinton, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY..  He was born March 24, 1922 in Flinton, a son of the late John and Grace (Sandstrom) Sneath.  Married Elizabeth M. Perry who died June 22, 2006. He was the father of  sons Lynn (Dianna) & Wayne (Kriss Ferluga) and the late Donald; grandfather of Shawna Sneath and brother of the late Robert, Sara Snedden, Margaret Monahan and Ruth Gerhardt.  He was a WWII veteran and a member of the Boston, NY. VFW Post..  Friends received Wednesday at the Wurtz Funeral Home, Boston, NY and Thursday 1-3 pm at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow where funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm.  Interment in Beaver Valley Cemetery, Flinton.
