Mrs. Shore, 86, a resident of Greystone Manor at Bellemeade, Altoona, and formerly of Glasgow, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at the manor. Born January 25, 1931 in Altoona the daughter of the late Herbert E. and Olive L. (McCartney) Troxell. On August 8, 1953 in Glasgow she married E. Glenn Shore who died March 22, 2010. Surviving are two children: David G. Shore of St. James, MO. and Elizabeth A. (Jim) Scott of Glasgow, six grandchildren Katie Mulia of Columbia, MO., Arielle (Gene) Spivey of Silver Hill, AL., Chris Scott in Maryland, Justin Scott of State College, Cory (Lee) Standridge of O’Fallon, MO. and Andy (Casey) Kuhljuergen of Doolittle, MO., six great-grandchildren Dane, Katie, Vince, Lleyton, Gene and Tyler and a daughter-in-law Jan Shore of O’Fallon, MO.
She graduated from Reade Twp. H.S. in 1949. Joanne had been a Registered Nurse and was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Glasgow.
There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.
