Joanne K. (Ochranek) McQuown

     Mrs. McQuown, 73, Ramey, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.  She was born August 9, 1931, in Blandburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pollock) Ochranek.  On November 27, 1950, in Bellwood, she married John E. McQuown who died July 20, 1987.  Surviving are five children John E. McQuown, Jr., Jennifer J. Decker, Jeremiah H. McQuown and Daniel Q. McQuown, all of Ramey and Charles J. McQuown of Glasgow.  Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and a sister Agnes Sedlock of Yeadon.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers John and Joseph and two sisters Ann Pelerossi and Kathryn.

     Joanne was a 1949 graduate of Reade Twp. High School.

     All visitation and services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial in Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
