Jerica Anne (Welch) Bickle

     On Saturday morning, January 14, 2023, Jerica Anne Bickle, of Altoona, , surrounded by her family, ascended into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after battling several years with aggressive brain tumors.  She passed away at her parents home at the age of 33.

     Jerica was born August 14, 1989, in Altoona, a daughter of Dennis J. and Diane M. (Walters) Welch.  Surviving her is her biological father of Ashville, her parents, with whom she lived, Jeffrey A. and Diane M. White, three brothers Jeffrey A. Walters of Pittsburgh, Andrew M. White of Altoona and Austin M. (Ashley) White of East Freedom, a nephew Ashtin White and paternal grandfather John C. White and his wife Debbie of Altoona.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Trudy White, maternal grandparents Donald and Mary Jane Walters and a niece Lauralynn Walters.

     In 2007 she graduated from Altoona Area High School.  She loved worshiping the Lord, was a big Disney “freak” and enjoyed playing iPad solitaire.  She was a member of New Life Worship Center, Altoona, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 20, 2023.  Pastor Wayne Schaffer will officiate. She will be buried in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.  Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
